This will come as no surprise. The James Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson have announced that, after ‘careful consideration and thorough evaluation of the global theatrical marketplace’, the release of the 007 movie No Time To Die, starring Daniel Craig as Ian Fleming’s iconic spy, will be postponed by seven months.

The new 007 adventure will now be released in the UK on November 12th, 2020, with other worldwide release dates set to follow, including in the USA on November 25th, 2020.

The JBIFC understands that this was an extremely difficult decision to take, but all parties involved felt that, in light of the growing uncertainty over the corona virus and its potential impact on public gatherings and other events, this was the only decision that could be taken in the circumstances. We fully support EON’s brave decision.

As many Bond fans appreciate, and as the EON franchise has more than demonstrated in recent films, the globe has become an unpredictable and sometimes frightening place, but remember that Bond himself always lives to fight another day.
