Bond is back! In a brief but very welcome press release issued on Monday, 24th July, 2017, EON Productions have officially confirmed that the 25th 007 adventure in the franchise will be released in 2019. The movie will be released in US cinemas on 8th November, 2019, with an earlier traditional release for the UK and the rest of the world.

EON also stated that Bond 25 will be written by veteran 007 scriptwriters Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, and the movie will be produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli. The press release added: ‘Additional details regarding distribution, including international release dates, the film’s cast and director, will be announced at a later date’.

Although it is thin on detail, it is still the news that we have all been waiting for: official confirmation that it’s all systems go on the next James Bond movie, after many months of speculation. And, of course, it is a good indication that the cameras will commence rolling on principal photography on the eagerly anticipated movie in 2018. We understand that some brief preliminary pre-production planning has already been conducted.
