Licence to Kill is one of our favorite Bond movies, and we think Timothy Dalton played a very tough, no-nonsense Bond – back to the roots. Wish he would have done more. Our crew at SpyMovieNavigator.com visited all the Licence to Kill filming locations in Key West Florida in the US. What fun to see the Barrelhead Bar, Sharkey’s Dock, the Hemingway House where M rips into 007 and where 007 goes rogue, Mallory Square, the Coast Guard station that filled in as Isthmus, Felix Leiter’s house, and lots more. Very fun! We even made it to the airport where Sanchez flies in his jet and escapes later – when looking for Lupe. Saw the Lupe house – great fun! We interviewed the guy who owns the airport too and did a few videos of the trip. You can find them on our website. Visiting filming locations is great fun – and this one was especially a delight. Wish Timothy would have done more. We will try to get him as a guest on our Cracking the Code of Spy Movies podcast show! He was awesome!
